Biography Bartolomeo Terchi (1691-1768?), Italian ceramist. Born in Rome, Terchi probably learned his trade there. He moved to San Quirico d’Orcia in 1717 and worked at the Majolica manufacturing house founded by the Chigi family for their private consumption. One of Terchi's works, a circular dish depicting scenes from the life of the biblical figure, Moses, can be found in the permanent collection of the Louvre Museum in Paris, France.
