A Late Bezalel Silver Esther Scroll Case, Late 1940’s-Early 1950’s, Signed “Bezalel, Yerushalem”.
Dimensions
Length: 29 cm
Details
With filigree and etched decoration. Hebrew inscriptions read, “For the Jews there was light and gladness and joy” and “And Mordechai went out from before the king”. Fitted with a handwritten parchment scroll.
Condition
Closure slightly loose, otherwise good.
