Biography Menashe Kadishman, Sculptor and Painter. Born in 1932 in Tel Aviv. Studies: 1947-50 Sculpture with Moshe Sternschuss; 1954 with Rudi Lehman; 1959-60 St. Martin's School of Art, London and Slade School, London. Prizes: 1960 America-Israel Cultural Foundation; 1961 grant from Sainsbury Fund, London; 1967 First Prize for Sculpture, Paris Biennale; 1978 Sandberg Prize for Israeli Artist, Israel Museum, Jerusalem; 1981 Eugene Kolb Prize for Israeli Graphic Arts, Tel Aviv Museum; Jury Prize, Norwegian Print Biennale, Fredrikstad; 1984 Mendel Pundik Prize for Israeli Art, Tel Aviv Museum; 1990 Dizengoff Prize for Sculpture; 1995 Israel Prize. Environmental sculptures in Israel, Germany, Japan, U.S.A.
