Biography
Born in 1949, an only child to immigrants from Europe who settled in Israel. During his youth, Jacob wished to pursue ar however, after his military service he graduated graduated from the Haifa Technical Institute with a BA in Chemical Engineering. Towards the end of the 70’s, Jacob joined the “Academic Institute of Plastic Art” in Bat-Yam, and studied there for three years. During his time there he was under the tutelage of artists such as Eliahu Gat, Haiem Kieve, Oswald Adler and others. He spent those years in search of his own artistic expression, and after many years as chemist and researcher, he decided to leave everything and dedicate his entire life to art.
