Description
A Rare Silver Gilt Bezalel Filigree Basket, Jerusalem, 1908-1911

Diameter: 6.5 cm; height: 6.5 cm

Details
Round formed with a rim foot base of plain band of twisted wire. Upper inside and outside rim decorated with large applied filigree flowers and small spreading leaves. An arched handle springing from the side, ornamented with small applied filigree flowers. Signed “Bezalel Jerusalem” on an applied circular plate on top of the handle.
Condition
Some of the gilt warn off, otherwise good.
