Biography Zvi Shor, Painter. b. 1898, Ukraine. Immigrated 1921; settled in Haifa. Studies: With Herman Struck and sculptor, Eliezer Struck. Moved to Tel Aviv. 1936-38 in Paris. Teaching: 1939-48 Kibbutz Hashlosha, painting; later near Petah Tikvah. Prizes: Dizengoff Prize 1939, 1949. Concentrated mainly on townscapes and scenery. Selected Solo Exhibitions: 1931 Hotel Herzlia, under patronage of Meir Dizengoff; 1955 Artists' House, Jerusalem; 1969 Arizona, U.S.A.. 1970-77 Yad Lebanim, Petah Tikvah; Bet Emanuel, Ramat Gan; Mishkan Leomanut, Holon; Beersheba Museum; Bat Yam Museum; Rosenfeld Gallery, Tel Aviv; Moadon Milo. Died 1979.
