Biography
Yehoshua Grossbard (1902-1992) Israeli Painter and Paper Cuts Artist. Born in 1902 in Poland and immigrated to Israel in 1939. He studied painting in Vilna in 1926-28 and in 1955 in Paris. Prizes: 1958 Malach Prize, Ein Hod; 1965 Herman Struck Prize. A founder of Ein Hod Artists' Village. In the sixties produced paper-cuts on festival and literary subject. He died in 1992.
