Biography
Pinchas Litvinovsky (1894-1985) Israeli painter. Born in Russia in 1894. Immigrated to Israel in 1919 with his wife. Studies: 1912 Academy of Art, Odessa (where he met Boris Schatz); "Bezalel" Academy, Jerusalem; Academy of Art, Petrograd. Teaching: Opened a painting studio with Mokady. Prizes: 1912 Scholarship to Academy of Art, Odessa; 1939 Dizengoff Prize; 1980 Israel Prize. Participated in the "Tower of David" Exhibitions in the twenties. Died in 1985.
