Moshe Rosenthalis, Painter. b. 1922, Miriampol, Lithuania. Immigrated 1958. Studies: 1940-41 Art Academy, Kaunas, Lithuania; 1945-50 Academy of Plastic Arts, Vilna, Lithuania, M.A. Degree. Teaching: Bezalel, Jerusalem, painting; Art Teachers College, Ramat Hasharon. Prizes: 1948 and 1949 First Prize for Drawing, Art Academy; 1950 Government Prize; 1951 Prize for Poster; 1954 Govenment Prize for Achievement in Plastic Arts; 1966 Histadrut Prize; 1997 Israel Polack Prize for Literature and Culture, Shalom Alechem House.
