Notes
Accompanied with a letter of authenticity. According to the artists wife, Yehudit Hendel, this was the last work by Mairovich painted before his death, and it was left on his painting stand on the day of his death, signed.
Biography
Zvi Mairovich, Painter. b. 1911, Poland. Immigrated 1934. Studies: 1929-34 Academy, Berlin, with Karl Hoffer. Prize: 1950-51 Dizengoff Prize. Lived in Haifa ,painting posters for cinemas. 1948 A founder of the New Horizons Group. Died 1974.
