Neomi Shemi, Painter. b. 1921, Rehovot, Israel. Studies: With father, Menahem Shemi; 1937 Central School of Art, London, painting and sculpture with Jacob Epstein; advanced studies, Paris. Prizes: Ministry of Education Prize; scholarship for studies in Paris; 1956 Herman Struck Prize. From 1950 lived in Safed.
