Biography
Jonathan Ofek (1973- ) Sculptor and printer. Born in Jerusalem, Israel. Studies: 2002–2004 Haifa University at the Fine Art Department; 1999–2002 Bezalel Academy of Fine Arts at the Ceramic Design Department. Selected solo exhibitions: 2007 Wilfrid Israel Museum, Kibbutz Hazorea; 2007 David Yelin Academy, Jerusalem; 2006 Berr Art Center, Maalot. Has been teaching sculpture and material technology at the Jerusalem High School of Arts since 2000. From 2000 to 2005 he was the manager of the ceramic art workshop at Ein Yael Open Museum in Jerusalem. He is a member of Jerusalem’s Artists Union. Lives and works in Jerusalem.
