Biography Moshe Ziffer, (1902 - 1989) Sculptor. b. 1902, Poland. Immigrated 1919. Studies: 1928-33 Sculpture in Vienna and Paris. Prizes: 1947-48 Dizengoff Prize; prize for design of a wall in Hagana House, Tel Aviv. Environmental Sculptures: Memorial in honour of the breakthrough at the Burma Road, Hulda; Sculpture Garden, Safed; 1958 "Lot"s Wife", at Brussels International Exhibition; stone sculptures at Tel Aviv University and Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Died 1989. Bequeathed his sculpture garden in Safed to Safed Municipality and his collection of sculptures to Tel Aviv University.
