A Rare and Fine Silver Kiddush Cup for Netilat Yadaim, Stockholm, The 18th Century

Collection of Mr. Jose Moskovitz, Buenos Aires/Tel Aviv; Skinner Boston, sale 1618.

Details
The circular bowl with repusse decoration and inscription, depicting the scene of ‘The Binding of Isaac (Genesis 22:2). Fitted with a decorated handle. Inscription in Hebrew translated: ‘Blessed are You, Hashem, our God, King of the universe, Who sanctified us with His commandments, and has commanded us to wash our hands’. A dedication in Hebrew on lower part. Fully marked underneath.
