The front, and back covers pierced and beautifully engraved with clusters of blooming flowers and the spine with raised bands, also engraved with flowers. The textblock, gilt and with two engraved clasps, one of them engraved 1656 (on the reverse). Fully marked, maker’s mark G.V. Including the original blank diary.
