Uri Lifshitz, Painter and Sculptor. b. 1936, Givat Hashlosha, Israel. Self-taught. Prizes: 1965 Youth Prize in Exhibition of Young Israeli Artists; 1966 Marc Chagall Fellowship; Kolb Prize, Tel Aviv Museum; 1982 Dizengoff Prize. 1971, 1973, 1978 worked in Spain. Died in 2011.
