Biography
Paul Weimann (1867–c. 1945) Born in Breslau, German landscape painter Paul Weimann studied at the Academy in Wroclaw under E. Morgenstern and in Berlin under Eugen Bracht. His paintings can be found in museums in Wroclaw, Neubrandenburg and Zwickau. Because of his preferred subject Weimann is also known as "the painter of the Giant Mountains", the artist was a member of the Circle " Schneekoppe ". His son Heinrich Weimann was a successful portrait painter.
