Marked with underglaze sword-marks, with gilt inscription of the number 26, and the number 17 pressed in white (on the reverse). With gilt and enamel decorated rim. Depicting a Jewish scene of the Bar Mitzvah groom reading the Haphtarah with parents and rabbis, one of them sitting on a chair decorated with a Star of David.
