The clock with a round face ornately decorated with scrolls in relief and with large, enamel painted, Roman numerals and a pendulum terminating in a bronze gilt sunburst. Housed in a tall, rectangular case with a hinged, glass door and glass sides; and decorated throughout with tortoise-lining featuring brass marketer work and ormolu. Set on four balled supports. The clock includes a similarly decorated console.
