The front side hammered and embossed with a pattern of leaves and centered by a round medalion embossed and hammered with a depiction of Jesus. The four front corners embossed with angels, griffins and eagles in a square frame. The back side embossed with a large cross, dividing the binding into four sides. Each divide embossed with a depiction of saints. Two curved plates serve as a spine, connecting the front and back cover by links.
