from the Sassanian Taq-e Bostan site of rock reliefs, including representations
of the investitures of Ardeshir II (379–383) and Shapur III (383–388), banquet
and hunting scenes.
The raised rim with repoussé work
decorated with a frieze of figures in banquet scenes intermittent with floral
motifs and cartouches. Inscribed “Taq-e Bostan” in Persian.
