Pierced, chased and embossed and heavily ornamented throughout. The front cover centered by a relief of the Adoration, flanked by wise men, scrolling leaves and perched birds with a floral border. The back cover centered by a depiction of the Resurrection and similarly decorated. With a spine pierced and chased with flowers beneath a smooth, silver ground. In addition, two pierced, ornate clasps on the front. Fully marked, marker’s mark (on spine). Traces of gilt the verso indicate, the binding was once gilt.
